Story Behind the Brand

Wait, it was me?

A photo I didn't know was being taken, and the quiet reminder that jewelry is a language you speak before you say a word.

Wait, it was me?

I was scrolling through the photo gallery for a conference that I attended back in the Spring. Half paying attention, just clicking through. Then one image stopped me a woman on the right side of the frame, hand mid-gesture, rings catching the light, a stack of bracelets sliding down her wrist, red nails, and that unmistakable pop of color from her top cutting through all the neutral tablescape. I remember thinking “God, I love all of these pieces together, I want to look more closely, I love what she is wearing.”

And then I realized… it was me.

There's something so strange about not recognizing yourself for a second — like catching your own reflection in a shop window and doing a double take. I wasn't posing, wasn't aware of the camera at all. Just talking with my hands, mid-sentence, caught in that golden late-afternoon light with a table full of wine glasses and half the conversation happening in gestures instead of words.

I think that's what jewelry actually does it's a small, wearable form of self-expression, a way of putting who you are somewhere visible before a single word gets said. I wasn't dressing for a photo. I was just dressing like myself.

That's what jewelry does at its best: it's a small, visual language for identity, one you don't even realize you're speaking until you see it reflected back at you in a photo you weren't posing for.
